What a great year for Painted Snipe! Queensland is winning at ther moment.... I am drooling at all the reports up north but nothing from the south. I have the opportunity to look for them in VIC/SA next week but lately there have been no reports. Does anyone know if there are any still on view? I have been checking out the local swamps but we still only have 1 Black-tailed Native Hen in the ACT, bottom of the National ladder I think:) cheers Milburn Dr P.J.
