National Painted Snipe contest?

Hi All,

I received a phone call the other night enquiring about the PS at Banyule,
and when I told the lady that I hadn't had any reports of it for some time
she became quite disappointed because she thought she had just seen it!
Chatting to locals over the last couple of weeks does suggest however that
the bird has moved on, but you never know...
