Although it is very hot in southern Queensland at the moment, we have been spared the fire disaster. I think I can speak for everyone when I say I am concerned, firstly, for the human casualties and, secondly, for the flora and fauna. A number of regular contributors to this group live in the bushfire areas and all of us will be waiting to hear that they and their properties are safe.
