I have often walked past Magpie Larks. If one happens
to be seated in your way, and it looks like you aren't
going to give way, they step aside just aside, and let
you past, and hop back to their position again. They
don't seem to fear humans much.

G'day Kiran,
At this time of year, my Christmas wish for Planet
Ark,
And that Kiran is how it should be? what should they
in fact fear from us? for if we spoil there homes and
land, do we not in reality spoil our own? if we shoot
mame and murder them why should they not think of
doing the same to us? Magpie attacks, in essence are
only Magpie parents defending their young .... ummm
isn't another species on the planet that does the
same?
Put down your books .... put up your feet .... time to
look at birds, multi-coloured, and singing sweet, take
some time out, to go and explore, bet you can't guess?
what lands on near your shore.
John
