Hello all,
Previously........
A couple of days ago I reported:
"OK! So someone is going to better this but....
Yesterday, 19/12/2001, a casual 'birdwatch' at the beach just to the north of
the Scarborough
boat-harbour on the Redcliffe Peninsula, SE Queensland, Australia, got me 20
Caspian Terns in various stages of plumage.
They were in a 'loose flock' loafing on the inter-tidal area along with the
usual Silver Gulls and Crested Terns.
This is definitely the largest number of Caspian Terns I have seen in one spot
at the same time."
Well.....I knew it would happen........
This is a report of even more Caspian Terns.
Yesterday, 21/12/01, at the same location as above, I saw 33 (possibly 34)
Caspian Terns together.
