Peter Ewin asked about Rufous Treecreepers at the Stirling Range in the SW
of WA.

Yes, Rufous Treecreepers are common in the Stirling Range. Mostly where
there is wandoo (of which there are a number of areas), but also where
there is karri (a few areas plus the nearby Porongorups).

They can be semi tame in places. In the Porongorups I have seen them
hopping around a picnic area and around and under cars in the car park.
