Hi All
I am planning a trip in March next year out through Dubbo, Macquarie Marshes
to Broken Hill. Then down to Mildura and the national parks ( Hattah-kulkyne
& Murray-Sunset) in the NW of Victoria, back along the Murray , up through
Deniliquin and across to Canberra before returning home to Dungog.
I am particularly interested in any good birding spots along this route.
Specifically I would be looking for the " West of the Divide" birds. Some of
these would include:
Chirruping Wedgebill,White-browed, Chestnut-crowned and Hall's Babblers,
Red-lored and Gilberts Whistler, Redthroat, Orange Chat, Pied, Black and
Painted Honeyeaters,Gibber Bird, Plains Wanderer, Inland Dotterel, Major
Mitchell Cockatoo, Chestnut Quail-thrush, Black-eared Cuckoo, Striated
Grasswren,Rufous Fieldwren, Shy and Chestnut-rumped Heathwren(Hylacola),
White-browed Treecreeper and White-browed Woodswallow.
Any help would be much appreciated. Please reply to me privately so as not
to clog up the normal channel.
Thanks in advance
