Hi all, just thought I'd express my excitement. After years of looking for Pink Eared Ducks - I hit the jackpot - 31, in a small tight bunch that I didn't even need bino's for !! (but I had them with me and I did use them) the thing is I wasn't looking for them.... They were in the seaward lake at the entrance to Port Augusta on Tuesday around midday. I was blowing quite strongly and they were huddled up right next to the road. I stopped got out but and they stayed put for me. I was late for my appointment though ! I checked yesterday morning but they were gone... cheers Mauro Adelaide - Sth Aust.
