Location: lawns (including footpaths). So far seen in various parts of
Indooroopilly, Brisbane. (5km S.W. of CBD).
Time of Day: Any time but definite preference for just watered lawn
grass or even during sprinkling, unconcerned at getting a shower in the
process.
Grub: Light, creamy colour not quite as big as a full grown silkworm.
Even if I had one 'in the hand' I couldn't ID it. Does anyone know if
the Army Worms mentioned by Ray Kelly are light coloured?

The holes they make in the soil are cone shaped, about 4cm deep and 4cm
across at the top.
My friend is quite pleased at having her lawn de-bugged and aerated.
