In the the case of the Grey Honeyeater it is
uncommon rather than rare. Its greyness and habits make it inconspicuous
and hard to identify.
As for the Grey Falcon if I had not found a
road-kill nearly 20 years ago I would agree that they are only in books. I
am still searching for a live one.
