There are only 3 pairs of Crested Shrike-tits in the Bankstown area, one breeding pair at The Crest Reserve and two pairs at Mirrambeena Regional Park. I have recorded these birds breeding and wonder where the young have gone.
 
Of interest, there are 4 pairs of Darters nesting at Lake Gillawarna.
