21/5/01 8:58 AMAlan Morris To all those people out there who like the odd drop of Hunter Valley Shiraz > or Semillion, remember that it is grown on land once previously covered in > box/ironbark woodland and unfortunately this habitat is still being cleared in > the Hunter Valley for wine-growing purposes! Oh Alan, that was striking right at my heart. I love them both - the woodlands and the shiraz. Oh woe...... It's a hard call, but I'd rather save the woodlands and drink water.
