On last Sunday's paper, they mentioned that there are 2 things out there in the Blue Mountains. A big black thing (panther or big feral cat) and a marsupial lion thing (thylacroa? species) - a very large carnivorous marsupial with spots, maybe related to quolls and/or Tasmanian Tigers!!! Anyway back to birding...
