Gooday all,
Further to my email of the 10 April in respect to the Rainbow bee-eaters
observed at Muralug.
I have had the opportunity to get out and do a number of Atlas counts. While
this species has diminished in numbers there are still quite a few around.
In all instances I have observed Rainbow Bee-eaters all still retained their
tail shafts and it proved quite easy to separate the males and females. No
juvenile birds have been observed in the Bowen region since my return.
Thanks to all that responded to my request to forward any corrupt emails to
IDX.
Jon Wren
