Hi All
After unfortunately missing the Endangered Species Appeal night of
"Confessions of a Birdwatcher" I am heading out to see the show this coming
Saturday night before the Comedy Festival ends.
I'd love to see other birding-aussers there to have a chance to meet
face-to-face. I've already met 4 list members out and about and a show
about birding sounds like another appropriate chance to have a get-together.
Plus, anybody who is brave enough to put on a show about my favourite and
perhaps not mainstream (in other words, some of my friends think I'm a
little loopy) pastime deserves supporting.
My non-birder partner is coming along as he says it may give him "an
invaluable insight into my personality" !! Gee, I didn't realise I was that
mysterious. So, birder's and non-birder's please say "hi" to the girl in
the audience with a pair of binoculars around her neck.....(well, I wear
them practically everywhere else I go - I may as well there too !)
