Hi all, David Geering, Carol Proberts,

David the tagged C/ Egret IS ORANGE OVER YELLOW
No 280. I wiil send details to M Maddox.

Carol, yes the call yellow tipped form of the S/Pardalotte is easily
distinguished form the red tipped form we have around Sydney once you hear
it. it as a much faster and higher pitched trill and the contact part of
the call is again thinner and different.

Raptors are in good numbers around the Hawkesbury,
three over 60year olds counted 11 species yesterday in a 7hr period all
within the County limits the highlight being a Black Kite on Cornwallis Rd
Windsor a Sydney tick for me. We missed out on the Square -tailed Kite. The
challenge is out to you young'ns to beat 11species.

At Powells/Fernleys Laggon Richmond are a two Australian Shell Ducks, 70
Plumed Whistle Duks and plenty of Pinkears.
