Arron,
Not sure whether this is of any use six months on, but I saw Red-browed Tree-creepers (2) at Govett's Leap, Blackheath on 20 October 2000.
They favoured mature trees between the Lookout car-park and the vistors' centre, but sometimes also fossicked about in small trees in the road central reservation and elsewhere. Nicely vocal too.
