3 Try by sound. Many years ago Andy Burton told me to listen to the "farty" noises made by the Fairys. It really helps! (PDB) Hi Bob, Penny and all,I normally describe the call as being "flatulent in quality"; of course I refer to the sound, not any malodorous quality emanating from Fairy Martins. Good that you remembered, Penny. regards, Andy -- Andy Burton's Bush Tours 12/8 Cambridge St, Cammeray, NSW 2062 Australia Ph 61 2 9954 0893 Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
