My sister lives in Nambucca (she is/was a FF rehabber) and apparently they have local growers who net their orchards and also plant native trees all around the perimeter of the property to still support native wildlife. They market it as Flying Fox friendly fruit. Going by what other growers appear to be doing, " Friendly " is an understatement !! Regards Karen Hampton VIC.
