Bassian Thrush in Hamilton

G'day all

Went for a walk in the Hamilton Botanical Gardens this morning.  No Fruit-bats
fortunately but one Bassian Thrush feeding on the wet lawns with a few
Blackbirds.

The first record I'm aware for the city but they do occur in the nearby Mt.
Napier State Park and Grampians National Park.  Would this be an autumn
dispersal?
