CHIEF E-x-ECUTIVE OFFICER
Based in Melbourne
Birds Australia is a Non Government Organisation (NGO) which relies on
talented and dedicated staff and a large band of volunteers throughout
Australia, creating an ethos which the CEO is expected to understand and
foster.
LEADERSHIP. The CEO is expected to be a leader who can motivate and
harness a dedicated staff team.
MANAGEMENT. Proven management ability and experience at a senior level is
required. NGO experience an advantage. Management qualification is
desirable.
ORNITHOLOGY & CONSERVATION. A commitment to and an understanding of
research and conservation is essential. Scientific qualifications and
experience an advantage.
SALARY. A salary package is negotiable up to $90,000 including
superannuation.
REPORTS TO. The position reports to the National Council.
