Michael and Frank Michael, interesting what you had to say about finches and their diet. Let me know when your paper is published. While doing biological survey work with Brett Lane at Mt Todd in 1990 (I think it was) we noticed Gouldian Finches above us, apparently gleaning, we thought for lerps although we couldn't see any on the leaves we retrieved. I've seen them doing this since but again haven't found anything on the leaves.
