Birdline Victoria Update for the week ending 25/2/01

Most of the sightings this week come from the western half of the state, with some easily twitched birds and others that might not be so easy (Black Falcon!).

The water hens are still being reported widely, including from Belmont Common, so if you are headed there to look for the bittern and miss it, at least you should be compensated by seeing crakes and rails.

We have now had over a thousand hits to the website and interest is growing, so don't forget to record your sightings so that we can keep the momentum going.
