Sorry - just realised I hadn't sent in this sighting - been a trifle
busy lately
1 Black Falcon flying parallel to Shell Parade, just inside the Shell Refinery fence, at Corio (northern outskirts of Geelong, Vic) at about 12:30 pm last Thursday 22 February. This is the closest I've seen this species to Geelong itself, although they turn up at Lara and the You Yangs, only a few Kms north of here. This was about 2 Km from my house, so it was fairly exciting for me.
