Hello Bruce and all,,

First things first, Thank You!!!!!! At last after years of intermittent
search, a Lewins Rail!!!
This morning (26th) I rose at 5.30am and following your excellent
instructions to the letter, and despite two fat walkers one jogger and two
dog exercisers I managed to find the following birds:

Brush Bronzewing (7)
Aust. Magpie
Laughing Kookaburra
Spotted Turtledove
Brown Quail (6)
Brown Thornbill
Whitebrowed Scrubwren
Tawnycrowned Honeyeater (3)
Eastern Whipbird
Variegated Fairywren (4males together - beautiful!!)
Eastern Spinebill
Barshouldered Dove (5)
Welcome Swallow
LEWINS RAIL (at hanging swamp)
Aust. Raven
Sulphurcrested Cockatoo
Crimson Rosella
Silvereye
Eastern Rosella
Grey Shrikethrush
Eastern Yellow Robin
Golden Whistler
 I will try again for those Doublebars You are a lucky man to have such an
interesting site so close to you..
