Hi everybody -

The following notice may be of interest.

Cheers,
Hugo
------------------------

Lotus Bird Lodge, on Cape York Peninsula, is offering internships in nature
guiding, hospitality management and horticulture to Australian
undergraduate or post graduate students and graduates who have studied
ornithology, botany, zoology and biology. Applicants should be interested
in birds, flora and fauna. We will be taking 20 volunteers and we would
love it if they were all Australians.

The last internship/volunteer program had 18 volunteers each staying for 6
weeks. Nine were undergraduate or graduate students from a variety of
Australian universities. They found their skills exponentially expanded by
the experience. After their participation, we keep on file an evaluation of
their performance to provide reference letters for them in their search for
related future employment.

During this year, we continued the operation of the nature guiding
internship and inaugurated two new internships - hospitality management and
horticulture. We hope you will distribute information about the
internships to the relevant personnel, faculty and interested students.
