Dear all

Re: Steve Clark's note on pelagic trips, I take exception to his comment
that "They are long, uncomfortable days".

Sydney's Rose Bay catamaran trips are far from uncomfortable (depending on
the weather of course). In fact I would call them luxury cruises compared
with the small fishing boat we used to take out from Sans Souci back in
the early 1990s. They are certainly long but great value.

However I do agree with Steve's other comment "The birds are fantastic -
even on quiet days. I've always seen new stuff but still have heaps to see.
The extras such as whales, dolphins, sharks and seals are great. The
company is good too. "

And many thanks to Tony P and all involved in organising them. And to Steve
Anyon-Smith for his "sea monster" sightings and brillliant eye sight.
