Hi John Some of us, via the assistance of Bob Swindley, saw the lesser yellowlegs near the Austin road lagoons on Saturday morning. As you go down the Point Wilson road, the bird was feeding in a pond down a track rightside on the first turn right, opposite a gate labelled with an austin road pump sign. Earlier it had been seen further along Point Wilson road two gates on from the first right hand bend, rightside and in the southern most ponds. Have you had any other reports since then? Hope this helps. Laurie Living .
