Hello All, I have seen BBBQ, male and female, on Fraser Island's eastern side. This was a few years ago and, although I have checked for them since in the same location I have not seen birds or scrapes since. Careful listening has also revealed nothing. They are quite noisy 'scrapers' within a reasonbable distance depending on terrain. Without getting into details as to exact site(s), have they been sighted there recently? Regards, Ros Laundon.
