Sorry, but a Vader's just a Dutch dad (cfr. English father).

Onderwerp: [BIRDING-AUS] Intensive study of birders
Hello all
Having been on this list for some time now, it occurs to me that the list
itself provides a useful data source for the study of birders and their
habits.
To date I have been able to positively identify from the list a Wren, a
Crow, two Robins and a Vader (I think that is possibly the European term for
a wader).
More importantly is the record of their calls. One can determine from the
time of their calls that some birders are definitely nocturnal, calling at
all odd times during the night hours.
I'm sure there must be a paper in this, somewhere.
Best wishes and a merry Christmas to all
