There are quite a few out there who are very experienced field observers, who spend time in the field and also record their sightings.  This is where it ends!!  No atlas forms!!  This is really quite tragic for the Atlas as this data may never end up where it should and it could be quite vital in respect of  the conservation of certain species of our native birds.
 
I know many people are out there religiously filling out forms and as a regional co-ordinator I am often snowed under.  Keep up the great work!  I ask those who are not completing atlas forms to please reconsider; the atlas needs your observations and expertise.  So do the birds!!
