Well the rumors are correct, a male Koel was at Yarra Bend park last night, calling incessantly and very loudly well into the night. It was located next to the car park of the golf club/around the children play ground, preferring to roost in number of large fig trees. I recommend that you park at the car near Kane Bridge and you should hear him.
