Dear fellow birdo's I stopped in at the Yarra Bend golf club/childrens playground on my way to work this morning (9am) and had no trouble in locating the male Koel reported on the chat line yesterday. He was up the top of the large fig tree calling strongly. Parking on the edge of the golf club car park near the playground (on left) it was the furthest fig on the right, just across the narrow road.
