Martin O'Brien has asked me to post a message regarding an important nomination
by the SAC.
The Scientific Advisory Committee has made a preliminary recommendation for the
listing of the "Victorian temperate-woodland bird community" under the Flora and
Fauna Guarantee Act 1988 . This community includes a number of birds, such as
Speckled Warbler, Jacky Winter, Hooded Robin, Diamond Firetail and others, 24 in
all, that are described as woodland-dependent. Anybody wanting a copy of the
recommendation should contact Martin O'Brien by email at:
Martin will arrange to post or fax a copy to you.
Remember to send relevant address details. Unfortunately, the information is
not able to be sent electronically.
Cheers
Ian
