G'day all As the title suggests, Rob Drummond and I found a pair of Hoary-headed Grebes nesting on a small farm dam a few km north of Hamilton on Saturday. The text books regard this as unusual nesting habitat for HH's. The nest appeared to be attached to a float in the middle of the dam.
