I agree completely. This is inevitably seen as an attack on cat
owners which simply alienates a large section of the population who
see birdos as loonies. It also perpetuates the myth (which I am sure
most birdos know is a myth) that domestic cats are a/the major
problem with reductions in bird nos when of course they fit in after
humans, rabbits, sheep, cattle, foxes etc.
