Several days ago I saw a Peregrine Falcon investigating the local
Rock Doves which roost on the sandstone towers of the bridge at
Northbridge (near
33° 49.175´ 151°
12.600´).
Yesterday it struck in a murderous-looking stoop. Its strike
probably (and unfortunately) failed as seconds later it circled nearby
with no lunch in its grasp.
