Yes I fully agree, and as I have written earlier this is the only way
forward in my opinion. For those who know how birdwatching and general interest
in birds has taken a flight in the UK and other European countries throughout
the late 1980s - early 1990s, Birds Australia has already waited far too long to
take publicity opportunities (or create them). Yes, the Landline show was
excellent and a great step forward, but who watches TV at noon on Sundays? The
programs to target first are the popular home gardening shows on the commercial
networks. Topics that are bound to attract interests are bird feeding, native
plants to attract colourful birds, nestboxes, cats, backyard ID, good
(easy) birdwatching spots in/close to urban areas,...........
