Hi all
Just thought I should let you all know this:
Birding-Aus messages are all archived automatically. They are stored
on a searchable database, administered by Andrew Taylor, at the
University of NSW.
The archive is at http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/birding-aus/
Jack Siler's 'Birding on the Web' set the standards long ago for
world birding websites. Here he maintains a readable link to most of
the public birding mailing lists around the world (more than 80 of
them). You can read the last 20 or so messages from Birding-Aus on
this site:
http://www-stat.wharton.upenn.edu/~siler/AUSB.html
There is also a mirror at Birdingonthe.Net (another great new site):
http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/AUSB.html
This means that EVERY MESSAGE to Birding-Aus is readable via the web,
and is stored permanently (unless Andrew removes it manually -
groan) on the Archive. So, PLEASE take a moment to check your
message before you hit that SEND button!

List Manager
