Hello all,
(especially the shorebird/wader experts)
On Friday 27/10/2000 I spent some time practicing with my video camera by taping
some scenes of birds at Woody Point, SE Qld, Australia.
While reviewing the tape I noticed a sandpiper amongst the flock of Curlew
Sandpipers that seems to be a bit 'different' to the others.
I was struck by what appears to be a split supercilium and a somewhat different
bill.
Some images taken from frames of the video tape have been placed on a new page
on my web site.
The images can be viewed by going to:

Constructive comments on possible identification are welcome.
Should be interesting........
The area where I saw the bird is approx 100 metres East of the Woody Point
Jetty.
Woody Point is on the Redcliffe Peninsula just to the north of Brisbane.
