I recorded a White-throated Warbler just above my head in an Ironbark of some sort on the 26 September at the foot of the Watagan Mountains, just south of Quorrobolong. I don't know how far that is from the coast, but a few Kms up the road there is lookout which takes in teh coastline south of Newcastle. The sea looked only a few Km away. In the SAME TREE were Yellow-faced HEs, Brown-headed HEs, Jacky Winter, Spotted Pardalote, and then a Bee-Eater flew past as well. It was a nice way to end a day in the Watagans.
