Hi Birders,
Yes I was watching Roy & HG the other night and
saw the magpies nesting on top of not the Opera House (as per Vicki P.S.), but
the Olympic Stadium! Even though I was at the Olympic Stadium the following day
(Saturday), I look for but did not see the magpies! However, the large
number of Bogong and other moths (yes Andy, definately a variety of moths not
just Bogong Moths) that were flying about in the middle of the day and walking
over the spectators and competitors alike, should ensure plenty of food without
much troubles for the parents magpies!
