On a lightning visit to the Capertee Valley yesterday, Coco Creek proved an
interesting place to stop, with Scarlet Honeyeaters calling from the tops
of the trees, a flock of at least 17 Diamond Firetails feeding on the road,
Rufous Whistlers back and in full voice, a Collared Sparrowhawk soaring
overhead, and of course, many other species.

Coco Creek is the second bridge from Capertee, where casuarinas line the
creek at the bottom of the long descent.

Cheers,
Carol
