Our first Dollarbird of the spring! And what a beauty! 9.20am, Wednesday, 20th September. First seen by Owen flying strongly high above along the creek in an easterly direction, then turned and dropped into the top of a tree just across the creek - where he sits now as I write. Sacred Kingfisher - 3rd September Channel-billed Cuckoo - 7th September Dollarbird - 20th September Now a Channel-billed Cuckoo is cruising around, yelling. Still no Koel here.
