Hi Michael, You can get into the Prospect Reservoir gounds via Reservoir Road South of Blacktown (and the freeway). You have access to the picnic areas which are reasonably extensive. I heard the Bar Shouldered Dove in the top picnic area on the left past the pumping station and other buildings. Apart from the picnic areas the main grounds are fenced off with signs advising no public entry. Happy Birding.
