The price of the Morcombe field guide

Hello Field Guiders,

Today I saw a copy of Michael Morcombe's field guide in the local Bookworld with a sticker showing the recommended retail price as $45 and a special price of $29.95.

I purchased my copy from the same outlet for $29.95 two weeks ago.

There was no suggestion then the recommended price was $45.

I think $45 would be a bit steep for any of the current Australian bird field guides.
