On 23 August, a flock of about a dozen Superb Parrots on the (Griffith) roadside 26km west of Temora, on the NSW SW slopes. This is about their expected return time, but I've not heard of any reports of them around here yet this year. Sadly, a road-killed male with them. Still, spring is on the way, even in the Canberra area!
