The Canberra Ornithologists Group (COG) has produced an Annotated
Checklist of the Birds of the Australian Capital Territory. The list is
based on the fine book 'Birds of the ACT: Two Centuries of Change', by
Steve Wilson OAM, published by the Canberra Ornithologists Group,
Canberra, 1999.

The Australian Capital Territory checklist is available on-line, and can
be downloaded in .doc and .pdf formats, from the COG web site
http://www.canberrabirds.dynamite.com.au . From the home page click on
BIRDS; at that page you will find a link to the Annotated Checklist of
the Birds of the Australian Capital Territory.

Printed copies are available at COG's monthly meetings. Many thanks to
COG's volunteer web manager, Mike O'Shaughnessy ( )
for making it available in this manner.
