Hi Stuart In support of your interesting observation, I saw a Wedge-tailed Eagle fly low over the Kalkari Bush Discovery Track in Ku-ring-gai NP about 2 years ago while showing the place to an overseas English birder. I rarely visit this NP but tend to think of Wedge-tailed more usual along the Great Dividing Range or western plains. Only came across one wedge-tailed on my western trip. Most of them must be further inland at the moment. Edwin |
