For anyone who's heading to Gluepot, a Painted Honeyeater has been present
there for the past two weeks. (Mainly around the Old Gluepot area). Outside the
western extremities of its range, it is one of few South Australian records as
far as I know.
The recent week of spring like conditions have propelled the first
understory plants, bushes and shrubs into flower and I expect many more to
follow within the next few weeks.
