For anyone who's heading to Gluepot, a Painted Honeyeater has been present there for the past two weeks. (Mainly around the Old Gluepot area). Outside the western extremities of its range, it is one of few South Australian records as far as I know.
The recent week of spring like conditions have propelled the first understory plants, bushes and shrubs into flower and I expect many more to follow within the next few weeks.
